Deadline approaches for King William's College Scholarships and Awards

Tue, 08 Jan 2019

The deadline for applications for the King William’s College Lower Fourth (Year 7) Academic Scholarships and Drama, Golf, Music and Sport Awards for the 2019/2020 academic year will close this Friday.

The highly sought-after honours, which are awarded to a small number of pupils, are designed to reward excellence and celebrate exceptional talent in a particular field. Children who will be joining King William’s College as a Year 7 pupil in September 2019 can apply.

To apply, parents must complete the application form on behalf of the candidate and return it to King William’s College on or before Friday 11th January. All applicants must also participate in an interview with the Principal.
Each Scholarship and Award runs from 1st September of the year of entry until the Scholar leaves the College, provided the pupil's work and conduct continues to be of the highest standard.

Assessments will take place on 18th & 19th January, following which all candidates will be carefully considered before award recipients are announced.

Any parents interested in their child applying for a Scholarship or Award must complete the application form and medical questionnaire and return a hard copy to King William’s College, along with a copy of their latest school report and administration fee of £50, by Friday 11th January.

The form can be found online at: www.kwc.im/admissions/scholarships or call 820427 for further details.
