MHK seeks update on civil service review

An MHK who called for a review into the size of the Island's civil service is seeking an update.

Onchan member Julie Edge gained support for a review into all civil service employees at executive officer level and above last June.

In next week's sitting of the House of Keys, Ms Edge will ask Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas whether the contract for the review has been awarded yet.

Mr Thomas will provide the update on Tuesday.
