Police appeal to parents following spate of vandalism

Police are appealing for parents to know where their children are in the evening following a spate on vandalism in Douglas.

The Isle of Man Constabulary says there have been a number of incidents of needless vandalism in recent weeks, including last night in Shaw's Brow Car Park.

CCTV from yesterday evening shows youngsters were involved, so police are asking parents to make sure they know what their children are doing.

The police are also stressing that the majority of the local young people are a credit to the Island, and that the minority can ruin reputations and opinions.
