Kids taught how to SwimSafe in Manx waters

More than 300 children on the Isle of Man are being taught how to stay safe whilst swimming in the sea. 
 
The Swim Safe project which is delivered by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and ASA is taking place in Peel this week.
 
The outdoor water safety sessions for children aged between seven and 14 are free - they're taught vital safety techniques and how to call for help if they get into difficulty. 
 
12-year-old William Crowe attended a session last year and used the tips he learnt six weeks ago when he got into trouble - delivery manager Sarah Porter says it's evidence the programme works:
