Island ready to welcome Princess Royal

The Island will welcome a royal visitor today - Princess Anne is visiting.

Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal will travel to both Onchan and Peel during her day of engagements.

She will tour the plant of aerospace engineers Triumph Actuation Systems and then attend a service of thanksgiving at Peel Cathedral.

Princess Anne is the patron of the cathedral development appeal - she last visited the Island in January 2014.
