Pedestrian seriously injured following hit-and-run

Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run which saw a pedestrian seriously injured in Douglas last night.

The individual was struck by a car travelling up Johnny Wattersons Lane at around 10:15pm.

Emergency services attended the the victim - who remains in Noble's Hospital this morning.

Specialist collision investigators have examined the scene.
