Post Office calls price rises 'gentle'

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

It was announced last week that the cost of a local stamp is rising by two pence from April 2nd.

The price of a UK bound letter will go up by one penny.

The Post Office is blaming people sending less mail for the increases saying volumes have declined by nine percent in the last year.
