Fortnight to go in Christmas Hamper appeal

With just under two weeks left to Christmas the public is being asked to lend a helping hand while out shopping.

Age Isle of Man is asking for people to pick up an extra food item which will then be compiled into hampers for elderly people.  

Each year the charity gets more than 20,000 calls for help from people who are struggling to cope, experiencing hardship or who find themselves alone.

It’s hoped that the hampers will help the older community at a time which can be particularly difficult.
