Urgent appeal for TT marshals

There’s an urgent appeal for TT marshals ahead of the first practice sessions this weekend.

Chairman of the Marshal’s Association Terry Holmes said they need extra people for tomorrow and Monday, as several of the visiting volunteers won’t have arrived on the Island by then.

The association has said it would be happy to hear from experienced marshals or volunteers.

Anyone interested in helping out should go to the office at the back of the Grandstand or telephone 618191.

Mr Holmes said he is confident they will have enough volunteers throughout the festival but said they can never have too many.
