Police are renewing their appeal to trace a van driver whose unsecured load hit two parked cars parked at Arbory School.

A metal rod fell from the van on Thursday morning, causing damage to one of the vehicles parked at the school in Ballabeg.

The other vehicle wasn't damaged.

Both cars were empty as the drivers were dropping children off at the school.

Officers are urging van drivers to make sure anything they're carrying is secure so that it doesn't cause damage or injury.

The van in this incident had an open back and was blue and white with an emblem on the side.

After the rod was dropped the driver continued on towards Colby.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Castletown Police Station
